Sunday Gatherings

Sunday Morning Worship: 9:30 – 11am (child care provided)

A song usually begins the service, followed by a welcome and opening prayer. Often we sing a number of songs that bring us into a spirit of worship and praise. Then scriptures are read and a message is given, which generally lasts about 25 minutes. After the message we pray together and pass the peace of Christ to one another. We celebrate the Holy Communion every week. People come forward to receive the bread and cup as signs of Christ’s love for us.

If you would like to express your faith, love, and commitment to Christ, you are welcome to participate in Communion, but no one is pressured to do so; feel free to remain in your seat and enjoy the music and time for personal reflection.

After Communion, we take an offering for the work of the church and to care for those in need. The service ends with some church announcements and a song that sends us out into the world as people who have experienced Christ’s love.
